Barclays HQ and Barclays Center Media Experiences
Standing out in New York City is no small feat, whether among the flashing lights of Times Square or the energy of a packed arena in Brooklyn. For Barclays, the goal was to create bold, elegant media experiences that not only elevated its presence but also built meaningful connections with employees, clients, and the public.
NBBJ’s experience design studio, ESI, created a media strategy for Barclays’ Seventh Avenue investment banking headquarters and the Barclays Center arena in Brooklyn. At the headquarters, 7,000 square feet of high-resolution LED signage showcase everything from brand stories to live financial data. Energy-efficient screens with enhanced color and resolution replace outdated displays, while CMS templates make updating content simple. At the Barclays Center, ESI designed immersive media moments, including a 360-degree LED oculus in the public plaza and interior displays that share Barclays’ services and community commitments.
Across the East River, ESI designed immersive media experiences for the SHoP Architects-designed Barclays Center, including an iconic 360-degree LED oculus in the public plaza and interior displays that communicate Barclays’ key messages, services, and commitment to the Brooklyn community.
