The Reinvention of One of America’s Most Treasured Sports Venues Nears Completion
Central Bank Center—which includes Rupp Arena and the convention center—is nearly finished with a multi-year redesign. The Sports Business Journal reports the refresh “frees Rupp” to encourage greater connection between it and the city. In addition, the design includes expanded concourses and public spaces, four new clubs and the ability to host sports and convention center events simultaneously.
