BlackRock’s headquarters, which unites its employees in a bright, daylight-filled workplace in Hudson yards, receives a CoreNet NYC Project of the Year Award in the 300,000+ SF project category. The project connects staff together under one roof for the first time to collaborate, learn and gather. Its gentle curves, soft forms and dynamic lighting create a welcoming background for distinct furniture, hand-crafted fabrics, and warm wood flooring.
Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas)
Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas)’ New York City workplace receives a CoreNet NYC Project of the Year Award in the 50,000 – 85,000 SF category. Guided by biophilic design principles, the design brings people back to the workplace to innovate, connect and ideate. It creates a restorative workplace via calming shades of green and blue and inviting shapes.
