CNN Recognizes Oxford University Life and Mind Building as a "Project Set to Shape the World in 2025"

CNN calls NBBJ’s design of the University of Oxford's Life and Mind Building—the University’s largest ever development—one of 11 world-changing architectural projects. The building features modern, flexible labs, and nods to classic architectural heritage through a stone façade and projected buttresses.

A hub for innovation and research, the project will unite the university's psychology and biology departments under one roof. Designed to incorporate leading sustainability features throughout, including Passivhaus principles for energy efficiency and low carbon, it will also host community-focused spaces, including a welcoming entry plaza connected to surrounding parks and multi-modal paths.
