The Realm
Commercial developments are often designed as cities unto themselves, insular and separated from the surrounding neighborhood and natural environment. The Realm reverses this trend by creating a vibrant, urban-scale network of office, greenspace, retail and cultural amenities that actively engages the community and expands the traditional definition of workplace.
The Realm connects Taikoo Place’s six office buildings with four floors of amenities, including two which are open to the public—a rare feature in the Hong Kong market. The design invites people in, creating a purposeful vertical journey that transitions from active indoor-outdoor spaces to coworking areas, tearooms and lounges, culminating in the Great Room, a unique skylit amenity space that looks out over lush gardens.
Features
The Great Room is the anchor of the Realm, activated with informal workspaces and a wide range of amenities including elevated restaurants with views of the park, and a two-story garden located above which creates the feeling of being in a canopy.
