Brandon Dole is a Civic Market Leader at NBBJ, bringing more than 20 years of experience delivering public-sector projects across the Pacific Northwest, Northern California and the Southwest. His work spans the civic sector, including public safety, public works facilities, city halls, police headquarters, operations and maintenance centers, and resilience-focused infrastructure—project types essential to how communities function every day.
Throughout his career, Brandon has led the growth of public-sector practices, delivered large and complex municipal projects and partnered closely with public agencies through collaborative delivery models, including progressive design-build. He is known for bringing thoughtful, human-centered design to building types that have not traditionally received it while balancing operational efficiency, resilience and long-term community value.
Brandon is deeply committed to mentorship, equity and sustainable civic design. He serves as a Planning Commissioner and Vice Chair for the City of Oregon City, where he leads public hearings, development review and legislative efforts—bringing a public-facing perspective to civic architecture that is grounded in service, stewardship and enduring community impact.
