Saigon Centre is located in District 1, the main urban district of Ho Chi Minh City. Fronting Le Loi Boulevard, the city’s main thoroughfare, this prime two-hectare site is being developed in phases. When fully completed, it will comprise international standard office buildings, premier serviced apartments and a hotel linked to a lifestyle retail mall.
Prior to NBBJ’s involvement, Phase I of Saigon Centre opened as the tallest building in Vietnam at 106 meters. It included a three-story retail podium, 11 levels of office space, 89 units of serviced apartments and three levels of parking. It quickly became the preferred shopping destination and a business address for diplomatic corps, multi-national companies, as well as banking and financial institutions.
The success of the first phase of development launched additional phases. Phase II was unveiled in a ground breaking ceremony in November 2011. Now complete, it comprises a retail mall spanning 50,000 square meters over seven floors, 40,000 square meters of Grade A office space and more than 200 luxury serviced apartments.
