With 25 years of experience, Cathy Stewart brings a strategic perspective to NBBJ’s research and university clients throughout the UK and Europe. Her expertise includes new build and refurbishment projects, framework management, and a proactive approach to client liaison.
Cathy has a passion for creating inspirational, practical 21st-century learning spaces that enable students to achieve their academic and personal potential. She is also committed to social, economic, and environmental sustainability. As such, Cathy has been featured in EcoBuild Magazine, Building Magazine, Property Week, Building Design and the Right Angle
In addition, she actively contributes to the professional community as well, particularly as a member – and former National Chairman – of the Association of Women in Property, a not for profit organization devoted to raising the profile of women in property and construction, and to supporting their careers through seminars, networking events, and student awards programs. She is the current National Student Awards champion and an active mentor. She is also the recipient of several professional awards, including the Women of Achievement Award by Women in the City and CBI's First Woman's Award.
