NBBJ Discusses “Boston 2030: How Should Our City Grow?”

NBBJ, One Beacon Street, Suite 5200, Boston, MA, October 25, 2017

Amidst a thriving economy and growing population, the City of Boston released its much-anticipated “Imagine Boston 2030” plan. Now that a broad range of perspectives and recommendations have emerged from the plan’s extensive public engagement, the discussion about the specific priorities identified, and how to marshal these to action, has begun. The general consensus around growing unaffordability, transit system repair and enhancement, investment in parks and the overall public realm, and inadaquate affordable housing still leaves many questions as to how to proceed, and how to assemble the right coalition of public and private interests.

Join architecture and planning firm NBBJ for an informative debate about the 2030 plan. From healthcare and academia to commercial development and government, experts will highlight the merits of the proposal — as well as the work that remains for us all.
