With this in mind, Becker’s Hospital Review featured an NBBJ patient room concept designed to appeal to Baby Boomers’ and Millennials’ mutual desire to better connect with family and friends, as well as with their care teams. Taking inspiration from trends in micro-housing, the concept employs reconfigurable furniture to meet needs for work, dining, socialization and sleep throughout the day.
