New Orleans VA Hospital Featured by Fast Company

After Hurricane Katrina permanently destroyed the New Orleans VA Hospital in 2005, the community and nation came together to build a replacement medical center. Eleven years later, the hospital is nearly complete and opens to patients on December 5. In Fast Company, NBBJ's Doug Parris and Ryan Hullinger explain how the design protects against future storm damage and also focuses on the specific needs of veterans. The project was also covered by, local NPR affiliate WWNO, and Curbed.
