NBBJ will have a significant presence at this year’s European Healthcare Design Congress, held in London at the Royal College of Physicians.
Brian Zeallear, an architect with NBBJ London, will present along with Richard Hamilton, Nicky Topp and Janette Dallas of the Canterbury District Health Board of Christchurch, New Zealand. They will discuss a recent rapid prototyping effort that not only refined the health system’s approach to multi-bed patient rooms, but also transformed its operations and organizational culture.
Sarah Markovitz, principal with NBBJ Boston, and Susan Silverman, Jones Lang LaSalle senior vice president, will discuss ‘Ten trends transforming cancer care and their impact on the built environment’, a well-received journal article they recently published in HERD: Health Environments Research & Design Journal.
NBBJ London’s Jane Ho and Rebecca Mortimore will be on hand as well, to discuss a design approach to blurring the boundaries between disciplines.
