The Architects’ Journal Names NBBJ New Practice of the Year, Tops for Women Architects

NBBJ has been named ‘New Practice of the Year’ in the annual AJ100 survey of UK architectural practices. According to The Architects’ Journal, which compiles the list, NBBJ’s London studio ‘has made a name for itself in the fields of healthcare and education’, specifically citing projects for the University of Cambridge and City University London.

As part of the AJ100 research, The Architects’ Journal also found that NBBJ leads in gender diversity (subscription required): sixty percent of NBBJ’s 25 London architects — including two of the five principals — are women, a higher ratio than any other UK firm.
