Tech companies across North America and Europe are creating beautiful new headquarter projects — from Amazon to Apple to Facebook. Now, that trend is catching on in Asia where companies are designing new facilities to make statements about the reach of their global influence and to encourage greater interaction among their employees.

In today's edition of the Wall Street Journal, NBBJ Managing Partner Scott Wyatt is interviewed about the NBBJ-designed Tencent Headquarters project in Shenzen, China. "Tencent has global aspirations … so they were interested in something very unique," he said. "They wanted something unlike anyone had seen."
