National Public Radio’s Morning Edition Talks to NBBJ in Story on the State of the Architecture Industry

While the architecture industry is bouncing back from the recession, unemployment for architects remains higher than average in North America and Europe. But some firms, including NBBJ, are using the downtown as an opportunity to recruit a new generation of design professionals and create technologies that bring greater value to clients.

Today, National Public Radio Correspondent Wendy Kaufman takes a look at the state of the industry and interviews NBBJ Managing Partner Scott Wyatt, who oversees corporate headquarter design projects for clients that include Google, Amazon and Samsung.

Ms. Kaufman states, "With clients like Amazon and Google, what Wyatt is looking for are architects who can figure out what clients want or need to enhance their business - translate that into beautiful and efficient buildings and communicate that vision along the way."
