North Atlantic Regional SCUP Conference, Boston, MA

Three designers from NBBJ will present at the 2014 North Atlantic Regional SCUP Conference, held at Boston University on March 12–14.

Principal Alan Mountjoy will host a discussion with Michael McCormick, AVP of Brown University, and Bonnie Nickerson from the City of Providence. Their topic, “Where Town Meets Gown: Why University-Proximate Districts Matter and How to Plan Them,” will investigate the connections between the College Hill / Thayer Street neighborhood and Brown University in Providence, RI.

As well, Senior Associate Debi McDonald and Designer Parisa Kohbodi will present along with Fred Manigat, Project Manager at DCAMM, and Brenda Mercomes, VP of Academic Affairs at Roxbury Community College. “Amazing Things are Happening at Roxbury Community College!” will look at programming, planning and proposed renovations for this urban community college in Boston.
