NBBJ Included in Columbus Dispatch Round-up of New LEED-Certified Architecture

The Columbus Dispatch recently reported on several LEED-certified construction projects in Central Ohio, for which NBBJ provided a source of insight. The newspaper spoke with NBBJ Columbus architect Kathleen Kelly, who noted that while LEED designation can add $1 per square foot to the construction cost, this can often be offset by municipal grants or other financial incentives.

The newspaper included in its round-up Research Building III at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, which is currently on track for LEED Gold certification. This research facility employs advanced air-handling technology to reduce the intensive ventilation requirements of a typical laboratory building.
